<p>On April 24, 2010, <a href="http://thegospelcoalition.org/network/chapters/ontario/">The Gospel Coalition Ontario Chapter</a> will hold its first conference in Canada. The theme of the conference is the centrality of the gospel in authentic Christian ministry. The purpose of the conference is to bring pastors and Christian leaders into an awareness of their responsibility for gospel-centered ministry and to challenge them to be faithful in exemplifying this in their ministries.</p>
<p>While the conference is aimed at pastors, leaders and students of pastoral ministry, all are welcome to attend.</p>
<p>Please join us at West Highland Baptist Church, 1605 Garth Street, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.</p>

<p>FEBToronto is pleased to welcome <strong>Ed Stetzer</strong>, author of <a href="http://www.amazon.ca/COMEBACK-CHURCHES-TURNED-AROUND-YOURS/dp/0805445366/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;qid=1245778131&#038;sr=8-1"><em>Comeback Churches</em></a>, for a one-day workshop on <strong>Church Revitalization</strong>. <p>Ed Stetzer has planted churches in New York, Pennsylvania, and Georgia and transitioned declining churches in Indiana and Georgia. He has trained pastors and church planters on ﬁve continents, holds two masters degrees and two doctorates, and has written dozens of articles and books. Ed served for three years as seminary professor at the Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and has taught at ﬁfteen other seminaries. He is currently the Director of Lifeway Research and Lifeway&#8217;s Missiologist in Residence.</p>
<p>The workshop is free. A freewill offering will be taken to help with expenses. We are grateful to <a href="http://febcentral.ca/">FEBCentral</a> and <a href="http://www.fellowship.ca/qry/page.taf?id=108">Fellowship Networks</a> for partnering with us in holding this event.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Our November meeting will take place on Thursday, November 20 from noon to 2:00. This is our last meeting of 2008, and we&#8217;d love to see you there.</p>
<p>As a special bonus, we&#8217;ll be giving away five copies of the excellent book <em>The Heart of a Servant Leader</em> by Jack Miller. Names will be picked at random from those who both register in advance and attend the meeting.</p>
<p>As well, we&#8217;ll be at <a href="http://www.westminsterchapel.ca/">Westminster Chapel</a>, a new church in our Association. Come see Westminster&#8217;s location and get an idea of what&#8217;s happening there. Westminster is located at 14 Dewhurst Boulevard (<a href="http://tinyurl.com/6yzwvb">map</a>), one block west of Donlands subway station (a 3 minute walk). There are several public car parks nearby, to the west of the church (and north of the Danforth).</p>
<p><a href="http://www.cardus.ca/contributors/rjoustra/">Rob Joustra</a> will be speak. Rob is researcher with <a href="http://www.cardus.ca/">Cardus</a> (formerly the Work Research Foundation), specializing in the church and urban renewal. Rob led the research in the WRF&#8217;s recent publication <a href="http://www.cardus.ca/research/urbanism/publications/"><em>Toronto the Good</em></a>.</p>
