Fall Meetings
Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 11:18PM Our next meeting takes place at Forward Baptist Church (map) in Toronto on Thursday, September 18 from noon to 2:00 p.m. (map). Steve Van Dyck will be speaking on Islam. The cost will be $8, and lunch will be served. Please RSVP if you would like to attend.
On Thursday, October 16, Colin McCartney will be speaking. Colin is the founder of Urban Promise Toronto, and the author of The Beautiful Disappointment. Colin will be speaking about what he learned during a period of crisis in his life and ministry. The meeting will take place from noon to 2:00 p.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church, Etobicoke (map).
On Thursday, November 20, Rob Joustra will be speak. Rob is researcher with the Work Research Foundation, specializing in the church and urban renewal. Rob led the research in the WRF's recent publication Toronto the Good. The meeting will take place from noon to 2:00 p.m. Location to be arranged.
